The success of the first Ben Hall Festivals in 2009, 2010, attracted thousands of visitors to Forbes and received huge support in the bushranger’s home.
In 2009, Mayor of Forbes Cr Phyllis Miller OAM said "the streets of Forbes were a siege this year as thousands descended on our town to be part of this very special event."
"We’ve received support and encouragement from so many enthusiastic people wanting to make sure we bring back the Ben Hall Festival, so the decision to make this an annual event was a very easy one!"

Prior to the Forbes MotorShow, head to the village of Bedgerebong for live entertainment with some of the country’s favourite country artists and bush poets performing at the Bedgerabong Country Music Campout from 20th - 27th September 2011
