The Kalari-Lachlan River Arts Festival is an opportunity for all arts and crafts workers, musicians, singers, dancers, visual artists, all performers, slow food producers and other creatives to showcase and share their work with the region's art lovers in a beautiful setting beside Lake Forbes.
Register your Festival Event by 19th August - Registration is free if you wish to perform or demonstrate your work
The Festival is directed by Stefo Nantsou, resident director at Sydney Theatre Company and will feature a Welcome To Country Spectacular, a Lantern Parade around the lake, and the premiere of The Kate Kelly Song Cycle, a chamber opera by composer Ross Carey and Forbes-based writer Merrill Findlay.
Music of all genres from Classical to Country, good food and wine, dragon boats on the lagoon - and much more.
A community celebration of country creativity and resilience after a decade of drought.
The Festival will be the opening event for the NSW Landcare & Catchment Management Forum
